What is Ains Reads?
A Nigerian digital reading platform for serialized fiction, standalone novels, box sets, comics and audiobooks from Nigerian and African authors.
Where do I actually read a book?
This website is for browsing, buying and managing your account. Reading happens in our official Mobile app (iOS, Android, Windows) or PC app — download one of those to open anything you've unlocked.
How do coins work?
Coins unlock chapters of serialized titles. On the website, ₦1 buys 1 coin. In our Mobile or Windows apps, coins are bought through that platform's in-app purchase system at the store's own pricing.
Are any chapters free?
Yes — the first 10 chapters of every serialized title are always free, and a further share stays free as a series grows longer, up to a maximum of 50 free chapters.
Can I buy a whole book instead of unlocking chapters?
Standalone novels and box sets can be bought outright for a single Naira price from the title's page on this website.
How do I sign in?
Sign in with your Microsoft account via the "Sign in" link in the top navigation. If you ever have trouble, a password-based fallback is available on the sign-in page.
How do I become an author?
Author tools live on our Publish site — any signed-in reader can turn on authoring for their account and start creating titles.
How do I delete my account?
Go to /deleteAccount while signed in. We'll email a confirmation code to finish the deletion — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data afterwards.
