Terms of Service

These terms are the standing policy until a newer version is published in the app.

1. Who we are

Ains Reads is operated by AinsoftEdge Ltd ("Ains Reads", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our website or apps, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You're responsible for the activity on your account, including anything done through Azure AD B2C sign-in or a password fallback account. Ains Reads may suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms, attempt to evade a prior ban, or are found to have submitted false verification information.

3. Coins and purchases

Coins are a virtual currency used to unlock serialized chapters, priced 1 coin per 1 Naira on the website. Standalone titles and box sets can be bought outright for a fixed Naira price. Purchases made on the website are processed by Flutterwave; purchases made inside our mobile or Windows apps are processed through the relevant app store's in-app purchase system and are subject to that store's own terms. Coins and purchased entitlements have no cash value, aren't transferable between accounts, and — except where required by law — are non-refundable once a chapter or title has been unlocked.

4. Reading Ains Reads content

Chapters, comics and audiobooks are licensed to you for personal reading through our official Mobile and PC apps — the website is for browsing, purchasing and account management only, and does not stream book content itself. Purchasing a title gives you a personal, non-transferable right to read it; it does not transfer any copyright or ownership in the work.

5. Authors and uploaded content

If you publish a Title on Ains Reads, you confirm you own or have the rights to the content you upload, and you grant Ains Reads the rights needed to host, distribute, scan and display it to readers. Uploaded text and images are screened by an automated content-moderation process before or after publishing; content found to violate our guidelines may be removed or unpublished. Current commission and payout terms are shown in your Author dashboard and may be updated by Ains Reads from time to time.

6. Termination

You may stop using Ains Reads and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

Ains Reads is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in a newer published version, shown here with its effective date.
